Ivica (pronounced [ɪvɪtsa]) is a common Croatian and Serbian male given name. Ivica is the diminutive form of the name Ivo which in turn is the diminutive form of Ivan, giving the diminutive chain Ivan > Ivo > Ivica. The English equivalent of the name is Johnny. Ivica is also a common character in Croatian jokes.
