I don't know if this really exists. A Google search on the mineral just provides a link to this wiki article, the blog listed as a reference and a bunch of other blogs linking to either the wiki article or the first blog. It'd be great if it does, but it seems kind of like a lame publicity stunt for Russia Today.
I more or less agree. A search on google scholar turns up nothing. I'm a scientist, and when individuals go to the media prior to peer reviewed publication, it often speaks that the evidence for their claims is wouldn't convince someone in the field. Also, I'm not a geologist, but I know that the only differences between radioactive substances and non-radioactive ones is (generally) a very tiny difference in weight. The existence of a substance that could selectively sequester materials based on such a tiny difference in weight is not feasible to me. The separation of fissionable uranium requires INCREDIBLE G forces, and only you only get a few % higher with each spin. The idea that a mineral can make the distinction would require hard evidence for me to accept. Furthermore this is touted as if it can separate ALL radioactive materials. I can't conceive of how this could be true, it's like telling me there's a wire mesh seive that will separate pebbles based on color, it doesn't make sense.
