[edit] Playing Career...

Some editors may mistakenly try to say he played for the Edmonton Flyers in 1953-54. This appears to be an error on the Hockeydb. There was another player by the name of Earl 'Ching' Johnson who played for the Edmonton Flyers during the same timefreame. It is my belief that Earl is the correct Ching to have played for that team during that time. I also offer the following statistical page from the Legends of Hockey that shows that Ivan did not play for Edmonton. It is the statistics from his induction into the HHOF in 1958 which would have definately showed that he had played for Edmonton just a few years earlier if he had of. Legends of Hockey Biography page and Legend of Hockey Statistical page. Also for that matter, here is Earl Johnson's Statistical page which shows that he played for Edmonton during that time. -Pparazorback (talk) 20:23, 16 February 2008 (UTC)
