There is, as far as I can remember, Ivan the Fool in the tale 'Tsarevna the frog', not Ivan Tsarevich. --89.110.15.19 13:24, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

  • I'm sorry, but there's Ivan Tsarevich in that tale

[edit] Name translation

Ivan Tsarevich (Russian: Иван Царевич or Иван-царевич - literally John the Prince) How can Ivan be translated literally to John? Either it is translated literally to Ivan, or it is not a literal translation. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tritium6 (talkcontribs) 23:59, 12 March 2007 (UTC).

Ivan is a transliteration. John is indeed the equivalent English name. Goldfritha 00:24, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
