[edit] Date of death

Question: just read a source indicating that Shestakov died in November, not December. Could this be a mistake, or a calendar issue (Julian vs Geogorian)? --Laserbeamcrossfire 08:47, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Yes, it is definitely the question of Old and New style....I will check the 25-volume Biographical Dictionary on Monday and let you know. :) --ISasha 12:46, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Ok, the dates in the article (for Shestakov's birth and death) are both New Style. The Old Style dates are: April 1 (birth) and November 21 (death). --ISasha 07:09, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

Alright, awesome. Thanks! By the by, the article I'm working on is the Rurik (1892) if you want to check it out. --Laserbeamcrossfire 07:16, 14 August 2006 (UTC)
