Ivanof Bay is located at 55°54'40" North, 159°29'21" West (55.911004, -159.489113)[1].

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.7 km²), of which, 3.4 square miles (8.7 km²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 22 people, 9 households, and 7 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 6.5 people per square mile (2.5/km²). There were 12 housing units at an average density of 3.6/sq mi (1.4/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 4.55% White, 0.00% Black or African American, 95.45% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
