Ivan Tomić (Serbian Cyrillic: Иван Томић, born January 1, 1976) is a former Serbian footballer and current Director of football of FK Partizan.

[edit] Biography

He grew up in the Serbian League with FK Partizan, one of the teams of his city.

In 1998 he was signed up by AS Roma when they missed the signing of Dejan Stanković, but he played only few games having a low efficiency. Thus he was loaned to Deportivo Alavés, where he was a regular. He played even the 2001 UEFA Cup Final that the Basque team lost 4-5 against Liverpool.

Back to Roma he played only few matches in Coppa Italia and was loaned again to Deportivo Alavés in 2002 and Rayo Vallecano in 2003.

In 2004 he came back to his first club, FK Partizan, and with the Crno-beli he played a total of 332 games scoring 66 goals.

He retired from professional football in 2007, and became part of Partizan's management.
