Ivan Iskrov

Ivan Iskrov (Bulgarian: Иван Искров) (born 26 March 1967 in Pirdop) is the Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank since October 2003.

Iskrov graduated with an MSc in Economics from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, after which he continued his studies in the United States and worked for several commercial banks in Bulgaria.

Prior to his appointment as Governor, Iskrov was a Member of the Bulgarian Parliament.

His wife, Ginka Iskrova, is a tax manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Bulgaria.
