Ivan Dinev (Bulgarian: Иван Динев) (born November 8, 1978 in Sofia, Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian figure skater. He is the 9-time Bulgarian national champion and has competed at 14 European Championships. He is the first Bulgarian skater to medal at a Grand Prix event, which he did at Trophee Lalique in 1999. He is also the first Bulgarian skater to land a quadruple jump in competition. Dinev was coached at the Olympics by Angela Nikodinov. He retired following that season and he and Nikodinov are coaching together.
