Iuticosaurus valdensis le Loeuff, 1993 |
Iuticosaurus (meaning "Jute lizard") is the name given to a genus of dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous. Iuticosaurus was a sauropod, specifically a titanosaur, which lived in Europe.
The type species, I. valdensis, was first described by von Huene in 1929, and redescribed by le Loeuff in 1993. Titanosaurus valdensis is the same animal. Iuticosaurus was similar to Titanosaurus. It measured 15-20 metres (49-65 feet) long.
