Iurie Platon

Iurie Platon (born July 14, 1963, near Orhei) is a Moldovan painter and sculptor. He was educated at the "Igor Vieru" National Arts School in Chişinău and the Arts Academy in Tallinn, Estonia. He began painting in 1982 and his first solo exhibition was in 1992 in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
Many of Platon's paintings are displayed at ksa:k, the Centre for Contemporary Art in Chişinău.
