Someone has added yet another child to Iullus children - is there any evidence for him? The only one I've ever know edited was Lucius Antonius. I only knew he had a daughter because of the source on Marcella's page. --82.34.129.154 23:07, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Name

I've read somewhere that he was named Iullus after Julius Caesar; can anyone confirm or deny this? Certainly I don't think it was a traditional Antonian praenomen, if it was even a proper praenomen at all. Binabik80 03:55, 15 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Iullus is a form of Julius, but it's isn't Julius. It's said like Yullus, not Yulius. --80.193.32.171 14:45, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

Iullus is the Latin for Julius. Julius Antonius was named after his paternal grandmother, Julius Caesar's distant cousin and Mark Antony mother's Julia Antonia . 31 December 2005.

So, was Iullus said like "Julius" or was it said like Iullus but without the "i", rather like U-llus? --Sophie-Lou 21:39, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
In "Augustus" they said it like U-llus.--80.193.19.191 20:25, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
You mean Yullus? --Camblunt100 15:59, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
It's sort of said "You-luss" though some people say it with a "j" so it's Jew-luss. --82.34.129.62 16:54, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
