Ituri Interim Administration

The Ituri Interim Administration consists of:
- a local assembly of 32 members, representing all delegations
- a five-member interim executive to implement assembly decisions, divided into 4 departments:
- for administration
- infrastructure and reconstruction
- economy and finances, and
- human rights and social work.
- an eighteen-member commission for conflict prevention andverification,
- a nine-member committee for dialogue betweenthe armed groups
- a seventeen-member interim observergroup on human rights violations.
Petronille Vaweka is the chairperson of the interim assembly, and Emmanuel Leku Apuobo serves as the administrator of the province.
