Itsunori Onodera

Itsunori Onodera (小野寺 五典? born 1960) is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Kesennuma, Miyagi, he attended Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology as an undergraduate and the University of Tokyo as a graduate. He was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1996 but resigned in 2000. He, however, ran for the house in 2003 and was re-elected.
