[edit] Cat listing

If you list something as "Category:X|Y", it is not a multiple category listing - the pipe is not a multiple entry separator, but rather a subcontent divider that adds more information. In this case, an article is listed in X under whatever the starting letter of Y is, so you're listing Organization of Triangles under F in Masonic Youth organizations. Obviously, that makes no sense, s please don't keep readding it like that. Moreover, Youth orgs is a subcat of Freemasonry, so there's no need to list it twice. MSJapan 16:31, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Org of Triangles

It seems to me that you're not entirely sure yet of how WP works. First, working on an article does not preclude you from voting on things related to it. Feel free to copy the info to a subpage if you want it, but existence does not mean it meets the criteria for inclusion. I've never heard of this "junior stars" thing either, and if it's only in one state or a handful of states, it's probabvly not going to make the cut either. In any case, I'm going to tack in the standard welcome message, which will give you some direction as to the how, where, and why of WP. MSJapan 16:03, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Usq_logo.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Usq_logo.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:51, 1 November 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. OsamaK 05:51, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Preces

Greetings and Salutations Alecmconroy,
I am intrigued to know where you got the prayer initially, as i have been looking for it forever and a day! I have been fascinated by these Preces ever since i read about them a year ago. Drop me a line on my page if you can help me out. The only thing im sad about is the fact that the prayer has been taken down off the page. I love the way wikipedia keeps history! grins broadly Ithillion 10:37, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi-- thank you for point out the article had been gutted-- that had escaped my attention, but I've since rectified th situation.
I don't remember which of the sources was initially used, but you can find the text an almost any of the prominent Opus Dei websites-- although not, apparently, on the official site-- presumably the full text of the Preces is something the prelature has preferred to keep private. But, many of the other prominent sites about OD do include the text.
I've listed one such site as reference-- that site[1], appears to have taken the time to scan in official OD documents. --Alecmconroy 06:42, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Falda

A tag has been placed on Falda requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
