[edit] Speedy deletion of Salată de boeuf

A tag has been placed on Salată de boeuf, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —BoL @ 05:44, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

And we are not a recipe. Just to let you know. —BoL @ 05:45, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
I've tagged it to be copied to the Wikibooks cookbook, you should be able to find it there once it's been moved. It will not be deleted immediately as it does not fall into any of the categories at WP:CSD (the above description clearly does not apply), but a recipe should go to wikibooks in any case. Thank you for your contribution. —Random832 06:37, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Hi, sorry to see the mess :(

Hi ITEntrepreneusse. Sorry you've been given a rather rough welcome to Wikipedia (most especially because of the improper accusation of spamming). I've transwikied your recipe to the Wikibooks cookbook as b:Cookbook:Salată de boeuf. Family recipies are highly prized and much needed there, so please add some more if you have them!

Wikibooks is a rather friendlier community when it comes to helping new contributors... I'm afraid you've really been exposed to Wikipedia at its worst though, because the treatment you've been given here is far worse than I've seen in a long time.

BTW, an article about Salată de boeuf should as a rule really just contain a description of it, any cultural signifigance, history, etc. The other recipies you've seen don't technically belong on Wikipedia either, but people add them anyway, then other people get angry at them, and unfortunately for those of us who try to preserve the recipes on Wikibooks the authors are often so frustrated by their experience here that they don't come and add more there. Let me know if I can be of assistance: I'm an admin on both projects. --SB_Johnny | talk 12:58, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
