Template talk:Italian political parties in 2007
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have moved the historic parties which Nightstallion deleted from this article to a separate template {{Historical Italian political parties}}, analogously to {{Historical Dutch political parties}}. I agree with Nightstallion that this template is huge and should not house every historical party, but they can have their separate template (want not waste not). I hope an expert of Italian politics could take a look at it.C mon 09:55, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- I'll do it, when I'll have time... --Checco 10:42, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Possibly missing parties
I found articles on the following parties on it:, but I'd like someone (Checco?) to confirm that all of these really do still exist, and if possible, also confirm which coalition they belong to. Corrections to my translations are also welcome, although I believe they are okay as they are. —Nightstallion (?) 14:10, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

- In my opinion, these parties are little more than personal parties with no electoral support and very few members. They're so unrelevant that I wouldn't mind about them. It is also difficult to say to what coalition they belong because most of them don't take part to elections. The most important party of these is the "Liberal Sgarbi", a tiny party which was disbanded many times and sometimes re-emerges as the personal list of Sgarbi. The last re-appearition was in 2004 with the PRI-Liberal Sgarbi list for European elections. "Italia di Nuovo" was launched by the former president of the Red Cross in Italy and was a total failure. All the other parties had never had any parliamentary or regional representation. --Checco 08:03, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What version of the template?
I sincerely prefer most the version by Nightstallion, dated 17:44, 8 April 2007. It was more clear and simpler. --Checco 08:06, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- I prefer the latest one; I'll be working on creating articles for the currently redlinked parties, though help is welcome of course. What I'd like to keep is the new way of organising it, as it seems much clearer and with less unused space. —Nightstallion (?) 12:56, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- I made a research about the parties above. Some of their websites are not updated and it seems that they are local parties. I really don't want to work on them, 'cos I don't think they're encyclopedic. Anyway, I'll see your work and I'll check it. --Checco 13:38, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
