From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Italian Seniors Open is a men's professional golf tournament for players aged 50 and above which is part of the European Seniors Tour schedule. It was founded in 2004 and is currently played in May as the first event of the season in Europe itself after the season opens with the DGM Barbados Open. In 2007 the prize fund was €200,000 which was one of the smallest on the tour. Italy's most successful 20th century male golfer, Constantino Rocca, made his senior debut at the 2007 edition of his home senior open. [1]
