This article is about the former town in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. There is a town in Gunma Prefecture with the same name, see Itakura, Gunma.
Itakura (板倉町; -machi) was a town located in Nakakubiki District, Niigata, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 7,526 and a density of 113.16 persons per km². The total area was 66.51 km².
On January 1st, 2005, Itakura was absorbed into Joetsu City.
