"It Must Be Love" is a single, released in 1998, by American country music artist Ty Herndon. The song was Herndon's third and final Number One single on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) chart.
The song's narrator tells of how he finds himself acting uncharacteristically, unable to control his emotions. In the chorus, a question-and-answer format is used, with Doug Virden and Drew Womack (then members of the band Sons of the Desert) singing the questions and Herndon performing the answers — until the last line, where they all sing together:
- "Is she there in your dreams?
- I don't know, I can't sleep
- Is she breaking your heart?
- Yeah, but it isn't it sweet
- Does she know how you feel?
- It's right on the tip of my tongue
- Are you walking on air?
- Well, I'm sure feeling tall
- Does she trouble your mind?
- It's no trouble at all
- Oh, I don't know, but something tells me it must be love"
