It Doesn't Matter is the first track released from Wyclef Jean's 2000 album The Ecleftic: 2 Sides II a Book. It features The Rock and Melky Sedeck. "It Doesn't Matter" was The Rock's catchphrase, so the song title was based on that.

After its UK release in August 2000, it entered the chart at #3, its highest chart position, and went on to spend 8 weeks on the chart.

The song also spent two weeks on the United World Chart, peaking at #32 in September 2000.
