IT Service Continuity is a specific form of business continuity planning. It is the process of assessing and managing risks associated with information technology (IT) departments. It involves the evaluation of values, threats, risks, vulnerabilities and development of countermeasures to ensure continuation in the event of a disaster.
This terminology is mainly used in Corporate America.
