Well, if it's the Jimmy Benson page, it shouldn't be the It's Happy Bunny page. Jim does stuff other than IHB. My kids (and my wife and I) love the Franny K Stein books.

So I'm a wikipedia doofus and don't know how to fix this myself, so I'm just complaining here. Live with it.

Go to Jim Benton, which will redirect here. Click the little "Jim Benton" link under the article title. Then you will be taken to a page with a visible redirect. Just edit and write the new article. Mike H. That's hot 05:31, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

I am not feeling so bold today, could somebody else try adding something about how Happy Bunny is not part of the Happy Tree Friends? I often see him mistaken for such. -Etoile 21:07, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Title

Isn't the correct title it's happy bunny? Red Alien 22:36, 15 June 2006 (UTC)

Yes, but a technical limitation prevents articles from having a lowercase letter at the beginning. --Bill Du Talk 02:21, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sense?

This article makes no sense. There are places were it seems like words have been randomly cut out, and places where the sentence structure takes all meaning from the sentence. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 206.176.177.207 (talk) 14:05, 28 January 2007 (UTC).

I also think that the article is confusing, it's using quotes in the middle of the text without any text preparing the reader that according to source X, blah blah blah. Namely "Mr. Benton's intellectual properties ... have made him stand out in an industry dominated by big entertainment companies." and "An anti-drug campaign featuring It's Happy Bunny was honored at the 2007 Austin ADDY Awards for advertising excellence in the category of public service."[5] "Jim Benton ... who People Magazine called 'the most visible cartoonist in America' ..." look like they're just popping out of nowhere. You can see the source in references but gee, it just doesn't look right. For someone who just briefly glanced at the beginning of the article there's a moment of "Huh? Who the heck is Mr Benton and what does he have to do with this?" Granted that it's mentioned in the first paragraph but it just isn't easy to read. --Seko 17:08, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

I have to take some of the responsibility here; what I did was, when I saw that the article was nominated for deletion, I went and looked up citations and added them to the article in order to save it, and I seem to have been somewhat in a hurry. It seems as though I haven't done a great job of working them into the article's prose, and I apologize. I will look at this later today when I have more time but, in the meantime, if someone cares to work on this, their contributions would be welcome. Accounting4Taste 19:15, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Happy Bunny.JPG

Image:Happy Bunny.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
