"It's the Lover (Not the Love)" was the final single in the U.S. off of Tiffany's album "Hold an Old Friend's Hand".
[edit] Song information
Like the previous single off the same album Hold an Old Friend's Hand the single failed to chart on any mainstream charts. While the single was released Tiffany was on the world tour for her album she was promoting when she switched places with New Kids on the Block. She was a tough sell because she was making cutesy young pop music when that wasn't what radio was playing. At this point she was also experiencing a huge backlash and was constantly being poked fun at in magazines that once spoke great things of her[citation needed]. She never recovered fully from it[citation needed].
There is no known music video that was made for this single.
