It's Okay To Be Different

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It's Okay To Be Different (ISBN 0316666033) (Megan Tingley, 2001) is a well-received children's book[1] [2] by Todd Parr about all types of different kids which has become a notable educational resource.[3] [4]

The book follows different storylines with simple colorful illustrations such as a kangaroo with a dog in her pouch but also follows some sillier themes like, "It's okay to eat macaroni and cheese in the bathtub". These storylines can be the starting point to ask children if they know anyone like the characters in the book or if they see a character resembling themselves.[3]
