"It's Funky Enough" was first single by American rapper,The D.O.C., from his 1989 debut album, No One Can Do It Better. The song was produced by Dr. Dre and samples "Misdemeanor" by Foster Sylvers. The song has appeared on many videogames such as Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, True Crime: Streets of LA and Madden 2005.
The line "Y'all ready for this?" has been made globally famous as sample in the song "Get Ready for This" by early-'90s dance group 2 Unlimited. That song is arguably the most played opening song for arena-based sporting events. The line "Y'all ready for this?" is also referenced by the platform game Jazz Jackrabbit 2, and is even used in a 2004 South Park episode in which candidates for school mascot are introduced in the school's gymnasium.
