Isthmohyla rivularis is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is found in Costa Rica and Panama. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss. Until recently the species was considered to have become extinct. In 2007, it was re-discovered in the Monteverde Cloud Forest of Costa Rica.
