The İstanbul Cup is a tennis tournament held in İstanbul, Turkey. Held since 2005, this WTA Tour event is a Tier III-tournament and is played on outdoor clay courts.

The first edition, held in 2005, was won by American Venus Williams. In the final she beat the young Czech talent Nicole Vaidišová in straight sets: 6-3 6-2.

The following year the young Israeli player Shahar Pe'er beat Russian Anastasia Myskina to win the Istanbul title.

Russian Elena Dementieva won the 2007 event, leading Frenchwoman Aravane Rezai 7-6(5), 3-0 before she retired, allowing Dementieva to win the title.

In 2008 Dementieva wasn't able to defend her title, losing in a final match to a second-seeded Agnieszka Radwańska of Poland in straight sets.
