From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Isrosene Nunataks (71°53′S, 26°35′E) are two nunataks 6 miles (10 km) west-northwest of Balchen Mountain, protruding through the west part of Byrdbreen in the Sor Rondane Mountains. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1957 from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946-47, and named "Isrosene" (the ice roses).
