Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2007
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Israel's state broadcaster did not hold their traditional Kdam in 2007, but instead a committee of music experts selected Teapacks to represent Israel in Helsinki. On 27 February 2007, four songs competed and a combination between televoting and the choice of the IBA's Eurovision jury determined the song Teapacks will perform. The controversial song "Push the Button" was selected.
Israel's entry finished twenty-fourth in the Eurovision Song Contest semi-finals, thus failing to qualify for the finals of the competition.
