Israel Charney

Dr. Israel Charney is the former editor-in-chief of The Encyclopedia of Genocide[1] and the Executive Director on the Holocaust and Genocide[2], in Israel. He is best known for his active stance against denial of the Armenian Genocide, and has written essays[3] and given lectures on the subjects of genocide and genocide denial. He is most noted for his comparison of Armenian Genocide denial to Holocaust denial,[4] citing that they both have similar techniques and psychological motivation.
