Israel Cannan is a 21 year old musician from the Central Coast of New South Wales.
In 2004 his 'Heroes In Heaven' EP was released by ECP Records. The first single 'Deep' received airplay on local radio stations and the video made it to MTV and Channel V.
2006 saw the creation of his own record label Poet's Corner Records. The first release by this new label was his debut album Poet's Corner in October 2006.
Cannan also appeared in the popular Australian soap opera Home & Away playing a bad boy character called Wazza.[1] Beginning with the 2007 season, Cannan performed the opening theme for Home and Away which was quickly changed, due to unpopularity with series fans. He has played with a wide range of Australian artists including The Whitlams, Sarah Blasko and Ash Grunwald. [2]
