[edit] Cleanup

The wording and tone in this article needs further work. --apers0n 07:41, 14 October 2006 (UTC)

A very good, although Dutch, article is in the Dutch wikipedia site. Unfortunately, my translation skills leave a lot to be desired. --kwoot 16:00, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Suggestions/comments

I'm not remotely qualified to write this material, but I do have some suggestions and comments.

The "Treatment/Management" and "Prognosis" sections contain the same language about therapies helping idic sufferers develop to their full potential. In my opinion that really only belongs in Treatment/Management.

"IDIC(15) is one of the rare chromosome abnormalities that occurs more often." That's a contradiction. If it's rare it doesn't occur often. Do you mean that it's a rare abnormality, but not one of the rarest? CarlFink 14:10, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Text to merge

Former contents of Inv dup(15) which now redirects here, in case any of it should be merged:

  4. Seizures

  6. Mild somatic abnormalities

[edit] External links

External links on Wikipedia are supposed to be "encyclopedic in nature" and useful to a worldwide audience. Please read the external links policy (and perhaps the specific rules for medicine-related articles) before adding more external links.

The following kinds of links are inappropriate:

  • Online discussion groups or chat forums
  • Personal webpages and blogs
  • Multiple links to the same website
  • Fundraising events or groups
  • Websites that are recruiting for clinical trials
  • Websites that are selling things (e.g., books or memberships)

I realize that some links are helpful to certain users, but they still do not comply with Wikipedia policy, and therefore must not be included in the article. WhatamIdoing (talk) 06:27, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
