The table shows vowels in the places Cx, e.g. the place of C0 (which I thought was undefined in Iso-8859-8) is now filled with the character "Hebrew point Sheva", 0x05B0 (1456 decimal) in UTF16.
I thought ISO-8859-8 covers only consonants. Are the vowels now part of the official ISO-8859-8 standard? Aleph4 14:58, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- Not in the 8859-8:1999 version, still cited on the Uniocode FTP server: ftp://ftp.unicode.org/Public/MAPPINGS/ISO8859/8859-8.TXT
