Isola in the Rain was Eighteen Visions's first single, released upon the signing with Trustkill Records and release of No Time for Love EP. The single got no airplay on mainstream level, however it helped the band get their name out to audiences in other parts of America, as they were then only known around Orange County. The single sold out quickly and also helped sell out most of the early press of the first two releases. The song was re-recorded two years later for The Best of Eighteen Visions, in a shorter version, with no fades to end the song.
