Some things to determine:

  • When was she born? I assumed she must have been older than Saladin, but perhaps she married Nur ad-Din as a child.
  • Was she the mother of any of Nur ad-Din's children? He had at least one other wife, the daughter of Sultan Mas'ud of Rum.
  • Was she the widow that Amalric I extorted money from when Nur ad-Din died?
  • Was she the mother of any of Saladin's children?
