The most active fields of research were Math and Astro. Actually there is an Indian influence too on Arabian or Islamic Mathematics (mathematics in islamic countries) when people from these places came to India, many places in India were centers of such activities. Usually it is believed that Arabians took the knowledge from India and spread it to the west other than their own contributions.
