Isleworth (IPA: /ˈaɪzəlwɝθ/) is a suburb located in the London Borough of Hounslow alongside the River Thames in West London.
Isleworth's relatively small river frontage is dominated by Isleworth Ait. The River Crane flows into the Thames to the south of Isleworth Ait. The Crane's distributary, the Duke of Northumberland's River, also flows into the Thames to the west of Isleworth Ait.
Isleworth is home to a crown court, currently undergoing a refurbishment. The scheme will allow for the relocation of crown court work previously carried out in the Middlesex Guildhall and will add five new courtrooms in an extension to the building.
Isleworth also had a tram (later converted to trolleybus) depot situated in London Road. Originally named Hounslow Depot, it was renamed and given the code "IH" in trolley bus days.It only ever operated one route - namely the 57 tram (then 657 trolleybus) service between Hounslow & Shepherd's Bush via Isleworth, Brentford, Chiswick, and Goldhawk Road. When the 657 figured in the final London trolleybus conversion of all on May 8th 1962, Isleworth Depot closed and its replacement motor buses and staff were transferred to nearby Hounslow Garage.

Isleworth has links with some famous artists:
