[edit] The ships
[edit] Royal Canadian Navy
The eight RCN Isles trawlers were built in Canada and commissioned during late 1942. All survived the war and were paid off in summer 1945, after the German surrender.
- HMCS Anticosti (T274) (ex. HMS Anticosti)
- HMCS Baffin (T275) (ex. HMS Baffin)
- HMCS Cailiff (T276) (ex. HMS Cailiff)
- HMCS Ironbound (T284) (ex. HMS Ironbound)
- HMCS Liscomb (T285) (ex. HMS Liscomb)
- HMCS Magdalen (T279) (ex. HMS Magdalen)
- HMCS Manitoulin (T280)

Although Canadian-built and Canadian-manned, these eight ships were not commissioned in the RCN, and hence were not designated HMCS.
