Isle of Wight is an unincorporated community in and the county seat of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, United States.[1]

The town mainly consists of a post office, a church, historic Boykins tavern, Isle of Wight Academy, a private school of approximately 530 students, and the Isle of Wight courthouse complex. It is the hometown of Lora Flattum who was Miss Virginia in 1992.

Boykins Tavern is currently undergoing renovations to help prevent rainwater damage. Current investigation on remediation is being spearheaded by Shannon Hill of DAA.
