Islamnagar is located at 28.33° N 78.72° E[1]. It has an average elevation of 189 metres (620 feet).Chairman of Islamnagar is Wahid Khan.Islamnagar has 15 wards.Here is 60% of muslims and in rest most of them are "Vaishya".

As of 2001 India census[2], Islamnagar had a population of 26,055. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Islamnagar has an average literacy rate of 40%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 47%, and female literacy is 32%.
