The Islamic Research Foundation (IRF) is a registered non-profit organization, which is based in Mumbai, India, that promotes Islamic Da’wah.[1] The founder and President of IRF is Dr. Zakir Naik, who is a scholar and a preacher of Islam.[2] The IRF Ladies' Wing was established in 1992, and is led by Dr. Zakir Naik's wife, Farhat Naik.[3] Zakir's brother, Dr. Mohammed Naik, is the chairman of the Islamic Research Foundation. Members of the Board of Directors are Dr. Habib Naik, Prof. Omar Naik, Suleyman Naik and Ruhollah Naik.
Live and recorded programs of the IRF are broadcast through the Peace TV network, Internet and the print media.[4]

IRF created a IRF Educational Trust (Regd. Public Trust No. E-14436 [Bom]) and in 2001, established the Islamic International School in Dongri district, Mumbai[5] which accepts boys and girls from Nursery to Standard VII.[6]
