Islam in Northern Ireland
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The arrival of Islam in Northern Ireland is relatively recent. The bulk of Muslims in Northern Ireland come from families who immigrated during the late 20th century. There are around 4-5 thousand Muslims living in Northern Ireland today. The Muslims in Northern Ireland come from over 40 countries of origin, from Western Europe all the way through to the Far East[1].
