If it doesn't fit, then you're probably trying to cram too much information into too small a space. Instead of having the left column be 50%, try making it, say, only 40%. You have to do a little playing around to get things to fit right, usually, and be aware that the user's browser might not even render things the same way at all (if, for example, they have the font enlarged because they can't see well). Good HTML design tries not to be too constraining or to rely on one particular set of settings for it to work.

As for height -- setting height percentages often gives really unpredictable results because different browsers consider "100%" to mean a different thing. I usually don't set it — your height will be determined by the content most of the time. If you have to tables side-by-side that end up getting centered in funny ways, set the VALIGN property of the TD they are in to TOP and they'll usually look a bit better. You ask for proof... what proof do you have for adding "of Jewish descent"? There is no proof because its not true. From the research done by various family members, there is some evidence that the original Becks emigrated from Flanders during the reign of Stefan Batory (late 1500) to Gdansk. Eventually, they settled in Limanowa, Poland in the late 1800's. During this time, they were certainly Roman Catholic. Sorry about that, I was in a bit of a rush since I was editing in class :O and I wasn't sure of what the actual names really were and where they were referred to as such. I was just following Jawiki and the PB covers. "1stソロ写真集" also just seems to me like a description of the book. Aren't you Chinese yourself? It can therefore be assumed you'd take the Chinese side of things, don't you agree? At any rate, I made that edit a very long time ago and am no longer interested in discussing the subject. But, if you're referring to the picture of the baby at Shanghai station, I do know for a fact it is a forgery. If memory serves me correctly I mentioned a French documentary which actually shows the photographer placing the boy on the tracks. You truly are clueless aren't you? You need look at Taiwan under Japanese rule to realize just how nonsensical your comments are: chinese people were addicted to opium and allowed such barbaric practices as foot binding to take place. Hadn't it been for us, they'd have continued their warped lifestyle. Not just that, it's not an exaggeration to say Taiwan and Korea's infrastuctures (mostly roads and powerplants) were built by the Japanese.
china isn't fit to be a world power...living conditions are miserable. Just look at how poor response to the Sichuan Earthquake was. That's a lie. According to Wikipedia those account to around 1% of the GDP, not 50%. Even if they did, what is wrong with AV, fuzoku, etc? Pornography is produced in the US, UE, Russia, everyone! People enjoy it, because people have a need to engage in sexual acts and watch them. Poor countries like China sell unauthorized versions of Japanese AV, so why are you so against it? Don't bite the hand that feeds you! Otherwise, where would you find game consoles to pirate? God forbid we lose the polystation! Or other worthless inventions such as the EVD, which really went nowhere.
Not just Japanese media. In fact, I'm not even Japanese, you know? I'm Portuguese!! So, while my ancestors (and indeed everyone's ancestors may have eaten with their hands without even having washed them, they most certainly weren't Japanese!
As for Kanji, sure, the Japanese adopted the Chinese writing system. No one is disputing that. Don't you realize I've been playing you all along? You simply assumed I was Japanese based on my username, but the truth is I am not. I'll be living in Japan very soon and have a Japanese girlfriend, but I was born in Portugal.
If you go over my list of contributions you'll see I'm not here to advance my point of view. I don't think the picture of the baby is real, that's true, but I'm not disputing that there were killings or anything like that. No, all I care for is information. If you can properly source your claims, I won't oppose you.
There are issues I'm more familiar with than others but deep down an article dealing with Perfect numbers or an article about Turkey are the same to me: information.
Propaganda films aren't reliable sources. Anyone would agree with that, because propaganda is meant to glorify a regime and its leaders.
