My name is Brandon, and I currently live in the Triad of North Carolina. I am a jazz pianist and drummer who has attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. When I was a small child, I used to read World Book Encyclopedias for fun, spending an enormous amount of time studying Ludwig van Beethoven. I have always been interested in learning, and am thus taking classes at school that have more to do with increasing my knowledge of subjects I find interesting and less with attaining a degree.

My interests include science (mainly astronomy, chemistry, and various physics such as acoustics and magnetism); movies; music (mainly jazz, jambands, and classical music); reading fantasy novels (such as Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn, the Wheel of Time, and The Lord of the Rings).

I play Dungeons and Dragons on a fairly regular basis, and have created my own campaign website called Shadowfell. I am the Overlord and the host of the Campaign Builders' Guild, a community based on building homebrew D&D campaign settings.
