Ishidoriya, Iwate

Ishidoriya (石鳥谷町; -chou) was a town located in Hienuki District, Iwate, Japan. On January 1, 2006, Ishidoriya town has merged to become part of the new city of Hanamaki.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 16,343 and a density of 137.83 persons per km². The total area is 118.57 km².

Ishidoriya has a sister city relationship with Rutland, Vermont.
