Isenburg-Isenburg was a mediƦval County of today's northern Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, located east of Neuwied. The Isenburg castle[1] was mentioned the first time 1103 in a legal document.

The County was created as a partition of the Niederlahngau in 1137, and was partitioned between itself and Isenburg-Kempenich in 1142, and Isenburg-Wied and Nieder-Isenburg in 1199.
