Ischoklad or "Ice chocolate" is a Swedish dessert or candy. Its main ingredients are chocolate and coconut oil. The ice part of the name relates to the feeling that the piece melts very easily and a cool feeling is present in the mouth as the heat energy is absorbed. This is due to the coconut oil. In some cases glucose or menthol is added to the chocolate, which increases the cold feeling during consumption.
Ischoklad is a popular Swedish Christmas treat.
