Ischnura abyssinica is a species of damselfly in family Coenagrionidae. It is endemic to Ethiopia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater lakes, and freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
