Ischnochiton mawsoni is a species of chiton in the family Ischnochitonidae.

This species is endemic to Australia's Macquarie Island.

This chiton is found at about 70 m.
[edit] Description
The head valve and tail valve have 14 slits each.
Coloration is yellow ochre with purple longitudinal streaks.
Length is up to 10 mm, and the width is up to 5 mm.
